Your Stomach
Headquarters of Health

An Army Marches on its Stomach

Said Napoleon. What he meant is that only a well-fed, healthy soldier can win victories. It's also true about YOU. Your stomach is your source of health—and the portal of disease. The stomach is a food-processing factory, it produces nutrients and waste from food. The workers in the factory are the beneficial intestinal bacteria that you have hired and cultivated. How this bio-machine operates determines the success or failure of the entire operation of the body; blood, organs, brains and all. The sole owner and manager of this factory is YOU.

It’s your duty to yourself, and in your best interests to manage your stomach wisely, and treat your hard working bacteria/employees fairly and generously.

First, you've got to send your stomach the right food. Here's some of the things that a healthy stomach needs (in order of goodness):

• Probiotics (fermented food or cultured beverage)
• Whole grains (brown rice, quinoa, millet, etc.)
• Healthy fats and anti-oxidants (avocado, hemp, coconut oil)
• A good source of B-vitamins as chemical catalysts

What it doesn’t need are (in order of badness):

• Sugar (all kinds, including an excess of fruit and juices)
• Simple carbohydrates (white flour, white bread, snacks)
• Dairy or meat or poultry (fats, hormones and antibiotics)
• Unfermented Soy products (tofu, soy milk, baby formula)

How to Destroy Your Stomach

There are two kinds of stomach destruction, via blood sugar, Hyperglycemia and Hypoglycemia. These are both aberrations of health, caused by diet. There's a correlation between the different blood sugar types and your physical appearance and emotional state of mind, so you can identify what type you are, and then take steps to avoid the downfall particular to that type of blood sugar disorder. Most Americans suffer from one or the other, some of us, from both.

Here's a thumbnail description to help you see how blood sugar levels can effect your life:

1) Hyperglycemics have a never-ending thirst, usually for sugary liquids, juices, soda, beer, and they also eat large meals high in fats and carbs in order to get to some kind of sugary dessert. They drown their cells in stored fat. They are easily identified as obese, and tend to be overweight on the top of their bodies, with large necks, shoulders and chest. They are eventually diagnosed as pre-diabetic.

Their bodies store the excess carbs and fats in the muscles, turning into "hard fat" or cellulite, causing stretch marks and wet, clammy hands and skin. Their blood sugar levels are unstable, and cause wild mood swings. Hypers think with their addicted stomachs, which become the apex of their anger and compulsions. Hypers project a victim mentality, and often get their way by bullying others. Since they are burning fat, they are "hot", and can blow up, sometimes with violent tempers. When their muscles become encased in fat, Hypers lose mobility and become lethargic. Hypers eventually suffer from insulin shock and their entire systems can shut down and go out of whack at any moment. Treating them the traditional way, with insulin injections, calorie-counting and surgery is the path to lifelong suffering and misery.

Hyperglycemics must control sugar and carb intake to level off blood sugar levels to avoid diabetes, obesity and heart trouble.

2) Hypoglycemics have a ravenous appetite, but won't eat on principle, or out of neurosis. They delay and suppress their hunger. They stave off hunger beyond the limits of endurance and literally starve their cells to death. They also crave sugar and fat, but restrict their intake by dieting, eating disorders or by substituting snacks and sugary liquids for real food.

Their consistant low blood sugar levels cheat their brains of glucose--which it requires every 90 minutes--and the body starts breaking down their own organs in order to produce it, with poor results and digestive problems. They end up with a hunger-induced depression. Hypos are harder to identify at first, except by their peculiar eating habits and addictive behavior. They crave food constantly, yet delay and deny their hunger, and use any and all substitutes for food, including coffee, caffeine tea, cigarettes, snacks, alcohol, fruits and fruit juice, and both legal and illegal drugs to control or stave off a ravenous hunger.

Hypos tend gain weight, if at all, in the lower part of their bodies, below the waist, the hips, and especially in the legs, with "wet fat" stored in their body cavities as gall, or decaying bacterial cesspools of water, which forces the damaged skin away from the bone. Their skin starts to sag, and the toxins inside their bodies are pushed out through their skin to develop pimples, eczema and rashes. They smell of body odor and bad breath caused by an excess of uric acid secretion through their pores. They try to limit their intake of food with will power and by excluding various types of foods from their diet. They seek out extreme and lop-sided diet plans to control their weight and hunger. This can manifest as extreme raw vegan diets, all-meat diets, or all juice diets, or fasting. They will have a predilection for anorexia, bulimia and numerous allergies.

The resulting mental issues created by a hypoglycemic diet can also make them non-conformists, rebels, and they cxan be creative, yet self-destructive people. Hypos suffer depression, alienation and have schizophrenic episodes and physical aliments that are often hard to diagnose. Hypos eventually suffer a massive collapse of the immune system as a result of their harsh regimens, after continuously ignoring symptoms or using drugs or self-inflicted punishment to disguise symptoms. The fate of the hypoglycemic involves bacterial infections, kidney failure, gingivitis, skin eruptions, respiratory problems and mental breakdowns, all occurring suddenly, and often so severe that it is too late to treat them with conventional methods.

Only a complete restoration of the immune system to defeat infections and probiotics in the diet can save a hypoglycemic.

Without intervention, every American, or anyone who is trying to survive on the typical American diet, will suffer one or the other, or BOTH of these catastrophic failures before they are overcome by what is essentially a death by rancid fats in the cells and a failing digestive system.

The net effect is that a poor diet of any kind dooms us to being victims. One way to see how far gone we are is to study our own eyes. “Sanpaku” ("three whites") is George Oshawa’s term for people whose eyes reveal them to be close to collapse.

Can You Really Survive on Food alone?

No matter what kind of resolutions you make, or intentions you have, diets you pursue, or hopes you have for natural health, Agribusiness and the food industry have the opposite plan for you. Modern American food is a drug to them, which they want to make as cheaply as possible, and induce you to crave it for the worst possible reasons. Straight from the farm, the food is poisoned with herbicides and pesticides, and picked before it is ready to ensure shelf life. The water that farmers use to irrigate their crops is most likely polluted by the poisons that have infused their wells and aquifers. Even the seeds the farmer uses are transmogrified. Monsanto is now monopolizing and monetizing seeds, which are embedded with pesticides, growth additives and create an unhealthy monoculture. The farmer is under contract to use only those seeds.

If you are so unfortunate to be hooked on meat products, the situation is far worse. Animals are corrupted and toxified from birth. By the time the meat comes to you, it is complete poisonous garbage. Once the food leaves the farm, the situation only becomes worse.

Your stomach is now in the hands of large corporations. They are in control. You'd have to go back 70 years to find unadulterated food. There is no guarantee that the foods we buy have any minerals or nutrients in them. You actually cannot trust the food you buy. There's death in every bite. MORE

The Go-To Book of Health

The classic self-help manual of the 1960s, when Adele Davis was at the forefront of a national movement for people to seize control of their own options to achieve good health and cure diseases. She used the available science and clinical studies of her era to prove that the body was a chemical factory that required certain vitamins and minerals, without which the body deteriorates. She saved thousands of people personally--people doctors had given up on--and taught millions to understand and use vitamin and nutritional therapies to protect their health and cure disease. Somewhat dated, it's still the best, basic go-to reference guide to health problems and what to do about them. To buy this book: Amazon
